I don't trust those who kidnapped me. There isn't much difference between gods and demons where I come from. And I try not to be cruel, but if my eyes ever change. If they ever look cruel, you know it isn't really me.
I will keep looking, but don't hold out hope on this. I've lived with it a long time.
I do not know how you could trust me. But, you're young. I hope you never have to understand more. You're just a kid, and you shouldn't have to deal with things like this, Arya. I'm sorry.
[It was going to be hell beyond belief for her if Arya ever saw her like 'that.']
Maybe not, but it's still my hands that do these things, and I still remember them clearly. I have a hard time not feeling that it is me who's doing them. Just an out of control me.
[Friendship was not such a simple thing, not such an easy thing. It required trust, and Samantha had so very little trust left in her. It required hope, and she had none. The girl, however, sounded very much like someone clinging to a life raft, someone who also had very little to hold onto.
She was either a phenomenally good liar, or Samantha would almost have been more cruel to refuse her today. She felt like she was stuck in that moment where the hero shoo'd a little dog away because they couldn't feed it anymore. Besides, she was only a kid. She couldn't have been more than twelve, thirteen, if that.]
Send me a message some morning, Arya. We can have lunch together. Take care, in the meantime.
[Unless Arya kept her, she would close the connection off at that point. This would not end well. she was deathly afraid of it. But there was still no harm in a little hope... hopefully.]

[ he's been fighting and it's this weird surreal feeling having arya back in his life. but he's on a mission to protect her. to make sure she's safe, which is why he's out there instead of with her. he's in a safe spot. a corner hidden away. ]
Safe, Arya. These things are the stuff of Old Nan's tales.
[She hesitates. She's seen how strong these things are, but she doesn't like running and hiding. She's done far too much of that. Still, she knows that Robb is only concerned for her safety. And she doesn't want him to be burdened with another dead Stark.]
